I wanted to read the part two of the Shiva trilogy as the first book ended with a cliff-hanger and for the first time an Indian author has managed to retain my attention for such a long time.
STUFF ON THE BACKCOVER SAYS
In a journey that will take him across the length and breadth of ancient India, Shiva searches for the truth in a land of deadly mysteries only to find that nothing is what it seems.
Fierce battles will be fought. Surprising alliances will be forged. Unbelievable secrets will be revealed in this second book of the Shiva Trilogy, the sequel to the #1 national bestseller, The Immortals of Meluha.
PLOT IN SHORT
The story continues with the adventures of Shiva and company in the pursuit of true evil and everything bad across India with a lot of twists thrown in the middle which climax to a ‘shocking’ reveal at the end pretty much like the first book.
THE GOOD
- Fast paced
- Nice set up for the next book
THE BAD
- Predictable plot twists
- Poor literary language
MY THOUGHTS
A good sequel for a great concept by an Indian author. This one is for the fans of inian mythology and for those who liked the first book. Others can give this one a miss.
MY RATINGS
3.5/5
