These tales were written by Rowling as gifts for her few close friends and then were published to the muggles next year because of the overwhelming public demand .This was a book mentioned in the ‘Deathly Hallows’ so reading this book was a must for me.
STUFF ON THE BACK COVER SAYS
The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers’ attention in the book known as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, thanks to Hermione Granger’s new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes, and illustrations by J. K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore.
PLOT IN SHORT
It is a collection of 5 wizarding world fairy tales along with footnotes by Albus Dumbledore himself. Each tale has its own message which is further elaborated by our headmaster extraordinaire .
- It could have been longer or may I say never-ending?
This is something I will read to my children and grandchildren. It bought back so many childhood memories of practically growing up with Harry Potter. Loved every bit of it. Must read for all the Potterheads .
